Our Story
Overview
Our Organization makes provision for people in the poorest communities in Nigeria by feeding families and also to end Maternal and child morbidity/mortality. It’s the cause upon which we were founded in 2016 and the one that we will continue to fight for each and every day.
It takes the hard work of our great team to help eradicate maternal and child morbidity due to pregnancy and childbirth related events. This is why we work with a team of professionals including Doctors, Nurses, Social workers and Volunteers. We connect donors, experts, partners, leaders and communities to attack a range of the problem from all angles.We are taking a position and we will not rest until every pregnant woman get access to good health and until people in the poorest communities get food and social support.
VISION
Is to create an enabling environment where all pregnant women, children and the needy in the poorest communities in Nigeria gets adequate financial, medical and social support needed.
MISSION
To alleviate sufferings of families as a result of financial constraints in the poorest communities in Nigeria with focus on preventing maternal and child morbidity/mortality during pregnancy and childbirth.
WHAT MAKES JUMAK HOUSE OF CARE FOUNDATION DIFFERENT?
In Nigeria, women suffer at point of delivery which sometimes lead to loss of life of both the mother and the unborn child. Some of the reasons behind this are: the three phases of delays; delay at home- Poverty, cultural, religions beliefs. Delay in accessing healthcare facilities- financial constraints and transportation. Delay at the health care facilities; payment for proper medical treatment, and poverty.
Most hospitals require payment first before they attend to women in labor. Most privately owned hospitals will not take the patient without money being deposited. In some cases, if it is the government owned hospitals, they might take the patient, but won’t discharge the patient until the bills are fully paid.
Our goal is to pay the bill in full and help families that are in this category. Part of our goal is to provide financial support to families with children and elderly going through financial difficulties throughout Nigeria.

How JumakHOCF Is Making A Difference.
We touched so many lives. we want our pregnant women to get proper care and adequate support during and after childbirth. We want to limit the financial challenges of families. we also understand the pain of our vulnerable adult in the poor communities without health centers. our goal is to reach them and provide them with necessary support.
